| 2021到了！在新的一年，祝願大家身體健康，事事順利。過去一年，全球的人都以新模式生活，我們要抱着樂觀、積極的態度，面對逆境/疫境。無論有多艱難，時間也會過去，大家加油！當同學們期待着回校上課時，教育局於一月四日宣布，繼續停止面授課堂至農曆新年假期，但同時給予學校彈性，在可行的情況下，可安排不多於全校學生人數的六分一的學生回校進行面授課堂或考試。學校經多方面考慮後，認為五、六年級學生踏入升中準備階段，故安排五、六年級各回校上課兩星期，為呈分試作好準備。至於一至四年級的學生，由於他們年紀較小，留在家中比較安全，故學校仍以網上授課。我們期盼在農曆新年後，大家可以再一次回校上課。 |

It’s 2021! We wish you all good health and hope that everything goes well! Last year, the whole world was getting used to a new mode of living. We need to stay optimistic and have a positive attitude towards any adverse circumstances. No matter how difficult, this too shall pass so we need to keep pushing forwards! When students were looking forward to returning to school, the Education Bureau announced on 4 January that schools would further suspend face-to-face classes until the Lunar New Year holiday. At the same time, primary schools can also arrange for no more than one-sixth of the total number of students to return to a school for face-to-face classes or exams on a half-day basis in the morning. After multiple considerations, as P.5 and P.6 students are preparing to transition to secondary school, we arranged for them to return to school for two weeks to prepare for internal assessments. Regarding P.1 to P.4 students, as they are quite young, it’s safer for them to stay at home; therefore, we continued to teach them via online classes. We hope that after Lunar New Year, all students can return to school for classes again.

我們在9/1及16/1(星期六)舉行了開放日。由於疫情關係，本年度之開放日以預約形式進行，內容為學校介紹及學校參觀。當天的家長反應熱烈，與我討論一些課程的話題，家長們均表示開放日能加深對我們的認識。其中最令我深刻的是當主任們帶領家長到操場參觀時，小朋友就像箭似的在操場上奔跑，大家都知道，因疫情關係，所有的遊樂設施都關閉了，看見這樣的大操場，小朋友也忍不住在操場上跑跑跳跳呢！ | ||||
On 9 and 16 January (Saturdays), we had our open days. Due to the epidemic, this year, booking in advance is required. We had school tours and a school introduction. On the day, parents were enthusiastic. We discussed about topics regarding the curriculum, and parents expressed that the open day deepened their understanding of our school. What made a deep impression on me was when senior teachers led parents to look around the playground, the children were running around like an arrow in the air. As we all know, due to the coronavirus, all playgrounds are temporarily closed, so when they saw our large playground, they just wanted to run and jump around! | ||||
一年一度的家長教師會執委會委員選舉及法團校董會家長校董選舉已經完成投票，並於一月十八日上午安排點票。現席主席蘇健基先生及一眾委員也有出席協助點票及監票工作，整個過程十分順暢。最後，蘇健基先生以最高的票數蟬聯兩項選舉。衷心多謝各位家長為學校出心出力。 | ||||
The annual Parent-Teacher Association Executive Committee Member Election and IMC Parent Manager Election finished the voting stage, and vote-counting took place in the morning of 18 January. The current Parent Manager, Mr. SO Kin Kei, and committee members all assisted with vote-counting and scrutiny. It went very smoothly. Finally, Mr. SO Kin Kei was reelected with the highest number of votes for both elections. A big thank you to parents for your dedication and contribution to our school.

在疫情期間，我們如常參加一些校外活動，並獲得獎項，多謝老師們的用心安排及同學們投入的參與，才能獲取如此好成績。分別為：由香港教育城舉辦的「2019/20年度創作計劃」，在中文科老師鼓勵下，學生積極創作，我們連續四年取得「積極參與學校獎」。另外，我們也參加了由國史教育中心(香港)舉辦的「年度中國歷史人物選舉2020」，我們獲得「最踴躍投票獎」。我們參加這些校外活動的目的是讓學生有一個可以展現的舞台，在過程中了解自己，從而令學生喜歡學校生活。 | ||||
During the epidemic, we participated in activities outside of school as normal, and earned some awards. We earned these great outcomes thanks to teachers for diligently arranging these activities, and students for being involved wholeheartedly! These awards include one from the HKEdCity 2019/20 e-Works Award Scheme. With the encouragement of Chinese subject teachers, students created their work enthusiastically, we received the “Outstanding Participation Award” for four consecutive years. In addition, we also participated in the “Annual Chinese Historical Figure Election 2020” hosted by the Centre of National History Education (Hong Kong). We received the “Most Active Voter Award”. We participated in these activities to allow students to have a platform to express themselves, and realize themselves during the process, thus encourage our students to love school life.

部分的同學在前陣子參加了一個「BEING BEINGS 同理‧童理」的計劃，為自己、家人、朋友設計一些有創意的用品，方便大家的生活。這個活動已經結束，我們學生的作品現正在中環元創方(PMQ)舉行展覽。 | ||||
A while ago, some of our students joined the “BEING BEINGS Everything Feels” programme. They designed some creative and useful products for themselves, their family and friends to improve their living. This programme is already finished, and the products designed by our students are on exhibition at PMQ in Central.
